Toyota pioneered a new level of safety technology with their forklifts beginning in 1999. They invented the System of Active Stability (SAS). This technology made forklifts much safer. It's an electronic program that senses and prevents accidents. It helps prevent forklifts from overturning, therefore, stopping some injuries that would have been inevitable with lesser technology.

Toyota Forklift Owners on Prices Paid #
We interviewed several Toyota forklift owners to learn what they paid. Here is what they told us:
Our small business bought a used 2,500 lb capacity Toyota 8FGCU15 for $15,000 last year. It had about 5,000 hours on it but was gently used. Has worked great for our warehouse.
We paid $38,000 for a new Toyota 8FGCU30 in 2020. It can lift up to 6,000 lbs which is perfect for our needs. More than we hoped to spend but it should last us a long time.
